Project Selection
Partnering with SDSU’s Sage Project, you’ll work with real data on community-based projects. Project range from understanding community concerns, analyzing environmental assessments, to studying air quality and more.
Each project will support larger research initiatives where you can meaningful contribute local environmental and social impact research.
Program Structure
Complementing your service learning project, the program provides weekly expert-led data skill building workshops, along with four "Building a STEM Career" workshops. All together, these workshops are designed to gradually build your technical expertise, covering essential tools and techniques needed in data analysis and visualization, while also supporting the transition into or enhancement of STEM careers.
