When you click the “Apply Now” button to begin the enrollment process, we collect the personal information you voluntarily provide through the application form. This includes details necessary to evaluate and process your enrollment, which may include your:

Military Service Background

As part of our NSF-funded research, we also gather data about your program participation and learning outcomes. Research related data is only gathered upon your consent in the application. Your information is accessed by ICTD program administrators, all of whom are bound by confidentiality agreements. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Elevates does not collect personal information from persons who simply browse our Internet website.

Sensitive Information

“Sensitive information” or “special categories of data” is a subset of personal information that is given a higher level of protection. Examples of sensitive information include information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, trade union or other professional associations or memberships, philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, sexual practices or sex life, criminal records, health information, or biometric information.

Within the enrollment application, we may ask for your racial identifier. Any information you choose to provide will only be used or disclosed as permitted, required, or authorized by applicable law.

Transaction Data

Transaction data refers to data that accumulates over the normal course of operation on our platform. This may include transaction records, stored files, user profiles, analytics data and other metrics, as well as other types of information, created or generated, as users interact with our services.

We do not collect Transaction data and will only collect and use your personal information when we have a legitimate reason for doing so. In which instance, we only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services to you.

Collection and Use of Information

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

Our enrollment application is administered through Google Forms, a third-party service provided by Google LLC. When you submit your application, the information you provide is securely stored and managed through Google’s platform. By completing the form, you also agree to Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not authorize Google to use your information for any purpose other than to support our enrollment process.

Security of Your Personal Information

When we collect and process personal information, and while we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall
